About the Journal

Tekinfo Transactions on Computer Engineering and Security (InfoCES) is a peer-reviewed, Diamond Open Access journal published by the Department of Information Technology, Politeknik Negeri Padang, Indonesia.

The journal serves as a dedicated publication venue for original research, systematic reviews, and case studies that advance knowledge at the intersection of computer engineering and information security. InfoCES covers a broad spectrum of topics spanning computer architecture and embedded systems, digital circuit and VLSI design, network engineering and infrastructure, cryptography and data security, cybersecurity and intrusion detection, forensic computing, and the security dimensions of emerging technologies including the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and cyber-physical systems. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners worldwide, with a particular commitment to rigorous peer review, reproducible methods, and the promotion of security-aware engineering practices in both academic and applied contexts.

All articles are published immediately upon acceptance under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) with no article processing charges imposed on authors or readers.

Tekinfo Transactions on Computer Engineering and Security (InfoCES) invites authors to submit original manuscripts for its inaugural issue. Published by the Department of Information Technology, Politeknik Negeri Padang, Indonesia, InfoCES is a Diamond Open Access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research at the intersection of computer engineering and information security, spanning computer architecture and embedded systems, network engineering, cryptography and data security, cybersecurity and intrusion detection, digital forensics and incident response, IoT and cyber-physical systems security, and emerging computing paradigms. All articles are published immediately upon acceptance under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license with no article processing charges for authors.

Submissions are open from 1 April 2026, with a manuscript deadline of 31 May 2026. Manuscripts must be prepared using the official InfoCES template and submitted through the OJS portal at journal.techno-center.id/index.php/INFOCES. Original research articles should be between 6 and 15 pages, follow IEEE citation style, include an explicit threat model for security contributions, and comply with the journal's responsible disclosure policy.
