About the Journal

Tekinfo Transactions on Software Engineering (Tekinfo Trans. Softw. Eng.) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Department of Information Technology, Politeknik Negeri Padang, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field of software engineering through the dissemination of high-quality original research, review articles, and case studies. It covers both theoretical foundations and practical applications relevant to the design, development, testing, maintenance, and evolution of software systems.

Tekinfo Transactions on Software Engineering (InfoSE) invites authors to submit original manuscripts for its inaugural issue. Published by the Department of Information Technology, Politeknik Negeri Padang, Indonesia, InfoSE is a Open Access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing research across the full spectrum of software engineering, including software design and architecture, secure software development, AI-assisted engineering, software quality and testing, human-computer interaction, software maintenance and evolution, and emerging paradigms such as IoT, blockchain-based systems, and cloud-native engineering. All articles are published immediately upon acceptance under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license with no article processing charges for authors.

Submissions are open from 1 April 2026, with a manuscript deadline of 31 May 2026. Manuscripts must be prepared using the official InfoSE template and submitted through the OJS portal at journal.techno-center.id/index.php/INFOSE. Original research articles should be between 6 and 12 pages, follow IEEE citation style, and comply with the journal's Author Guidelines.
